The damage is moderate to heavy, with scratches and scuffs ranging from approximately 20mm to 80mm in length scattered around the circumference of each wheel. The bottom left wheel in the front-facing image shows particularly noticeable damage with deeper gouges approximately 30-50mm in length. The damage is visible from 2m distance on all wheels. The polished lip finish shows numerous light scratches throughout from general use.

Curb rash (Inner rim): The inner barrel of all four wheels shows scuffing and light scratches consistent with tire mounting and general use. The rear-facing image reveals scratches and marks on the inner rim surfaces of all wheels, with the bottom two wheels showing more pronounced wear. Estimated scratches range from 10-40mm in various locations. This damage is only visible upon close inspection.

Paint peeling / Corrosion: The silver painted center mesh sections on all four wheels show signs of paint deterioration and fading. Light surface oxidation is visible on the spoke areas, particularly noticeable on the bottom two wheels in the rear-facing image where the paint appears cloudy and worn. Minor paint chips approximately 2-5mm are scattered across the mesh sections. The hub mounting areas show discoloration and light corrosion around the lug holes on all wheels, visible from 1m.

White rust / Corrosion: White oxidation and corrosion spots are present on the polished aluminum lips of all four wheels. The corrosion appears as light hazy patches and pitting, most visible on close inspection. The assembly bolts around the two-piece construction show some surface rust and oxidation. The inner barrels display moderate white corrosion and staining, particularly visible in the rear-facing images where cloudy white deposits are evident on all four wheels.

Suspected distortion: No obvious signs of rim distortion, bends, or cracks are visible in the provided images. The lips appear to maintain their circular shape without visible warping. However, given the evidence of curb contact on all wheels, measurement with specialized equipment such as a dial indicator or laser runout gauge is strongly recommended before mounting tires to confirm structural integrity.

Special notes: These are BBS LM two-piece wheels, size 9Jx17 with ET20 offset and 5x114.3 bolt pattern (LM073 designation visible). All four original BBS center caps with gold lettering are present but show scratches and wear. The center cap surfaces are scratched and have lost some of their original luster. Air valve stems are not visible in the images and should be replaced with new units upon tire installation. The wheels are usable in their current condition but would benefit significantly from professional refurbishment including polishing of the lips and repainting of the center sections to restore their appearance. The assembly bolts appear intact but inspection for corrosion and proper torque is recommended.
